WASD to move, F to attack, E/R to change stance
↑←↓→ to move, K to attack, I/O to change stance
• Kill your opponent and progress through multiple screens in your direction.
• When you die, you respawn in roughly five seconds in front of your opponent.
• A "GO" arrow will appear when you kill your opponent - continue forward to advance screens.
• If your opponent bypasses you, throw your sabre at them or run in the opposite direction to respawn earlier.
• Movement: ←→ (Lateral), ↓ or S (Duck), G (Jump, can be reconfigured)
• Techniques: ↓ while moving (Roll), move ← or → while ducking (Crawl)
• Sabre: ↑ or W (Raise), ↓ or S (Lower), F (Lunge)
• Throwing: Hold ↑ or W beyond highest position, then F (Throw Sabre)
• Special Moves: F while in air (Dive-Kick), F while crouched (Trip), F while disarmed (Punch), F while opponent is downed (Snap Neck)
• Change your stance (high, mid, low) to counter your opponent.
• Attacking with the same stance as your opponent will cause a clash.
• Attacking with a different stance will kill or disarm them.
• Parry by holding your sabre at the height of your opponent's lunges.
• Disarm by crossing your sabre over theirs when your sabre is over half-way past theirs.
• Throw your sabre by pressing F while holding it aloft (or F + ↑ simultaneously).
• Parry thrown sabres by holding your sabre in mid or high position, or duck beneath them.
• Roll-stabbing: Stand from a roll with sabre low to stab opponents with mid or high sabres.
• Roll-disarming: Stand from a roll at the right moment to disarm low sabres.
• Cart-wheel: While running, tap down to perform a cart-wheel that maintains sabre position.
• Wall-jumping: Jump into a wall to cling, run up or jump off it.
• Skewering dive-kicks: Raise your sabre high to kill incoming dive-kickers.
